As of 31 December 2017, the bank's total assets were valued at UGX:1 trillion (approximately US$263 million).[3] In December 2017, shareholders' equity in the bank was valued at KSh5 billion (US$50 million).[8] By August 2018, the bank's total assets had grown to USh1.1 trillion (approx. The Ugandan subsidiary owns 11,333,333 ordinary shares of the parent company based in Nairobi, Kenya. EGHL is a large Kenyan financial services conglomerate, with total assets of nearly US$4 billion, as at September 2014.
