This is a small shrub rarely reaching a maximum height of 50 cm (20 inches). It is covered in a foliage of sticky, curved, somewhat fleshy leaves about 1 centimeter (0.4 inches) long. The tips of its erect branches hold dense inflorescences of tiny flower heads with cream white to yellow disc and ray florets.[4] References1. ^The Plant List Ericameria nana Nutt. 2. ^Biota of North America Program 2014 county distribution map 3. ^1 Calflora taxon report, University of California, Ericameria nana Nutt., Rubberweed, dwarf goldenbush 4. ^Flora of North America, Dwarf goldenbush, Ericameria nana Nuttall, Trans.
