Ettersburg (also, Etter[1]) is a locality[1] in Humboldt County, California. It is located {{convert|12.5|mi|km|0}} west-northwest of Phillipsville,[1] at an elevation of {{convert|676|ft|m}}.[2]A post office operated at Ettersburg from 1902 to 1906 and from 1915 to 1965.[1] The name comes from the ancestral home of homesteader Albert F.
