释义 |
When constructed in 1999, Eurowheel was the tallest extant Ferris wheel in Europe,[3] superseding the {{Convert|73|m|adj=on}} Moscow-850.[4] Both the {{Convert|94|m|adj=on}} Great Wheel, built for the Empire of India Exhibition at Earls Court, London, in 1895, and the {{Convert|100|m|adj=on}} Grande Roue de Paris, built for the Exposition Universelle of 1900 in Paris, were taller, however the London wheel was demolished in 1907 and the Paris wheel in 1920.[5] Eurowheel is now Europe's second tallest extant Ferris wheel, after the {{Convert|130|m|adj=on}} London Eye, which officially opened on 31 December 1999, but which did not open to the public until March 2000 because of technical problems. Eurowheel has a {{Convert|90|cm|abbr=on}} minimum passenger height restriction.[6] References1. ^Mirabilandia, hotels Mirabilandia, hotel + admission Mirabilandia 2. ^Ferretti Hotels - Mirabilandia Hotels Mirabilandia Offers 3. ^"Sierra Tonante" at Mirabilandia Ravenna, Italy 4. ^Колесо обозрения "Москва 850" 5. ^[https://books.google.com/books?id=SkFQ5tgWKfEC&printsec=frontcover&dq=Ferris+wheels:+an+illustrated+history&cd=1 Ferris wheels - an illustrated history, Norman D.
