He played club level rugby union (RU) for Llanelli RFC,{{citation needed|date=August 2014}} and representative level rugby league (RL) for Great Britain and Wales, and at club level for Oldham, as a {{rlp|ce}}, i.e. number 3 or 4.[1] Playing careerEvan Davies was born in Tumble, Wales.[3] Playing careerInternational honoursDavies three won caps for Wales (RL) while at Oldham between 1912 and 1923. He was selected to go on the 1920 Great Britain Lions tour of Australia and New Zealand.
