In June 2015 the team competed in the 2015 IHF Emerging Nations Championship, the Faroese team won the championship.[1] In June 2017 the team competed in the 2017 IHF Emerging Nations Championship, and again they won the championship.[2] IHF Emerging Nations Championship record
