It was discovered in 1958 and is developed by Romgaz. It began production in 1961 and produces natural gas and condensates. The total proven reserves of the Filitelnic gas field are around {{convert|2.145|e12cuft|km3}}, and production is around {{convert|143|e6cuft/d|m3/d}}.
