BackgroundThe Flick of the Switch tour took place in North America through most of 1983 and the Monsters of Rock Tour was a couple of stops in 1984 and 1985 (In 1985 with two concerts at the Rock in Rio Festival in Brazil, on 15 January and 19 January). This was the first AC/DC tour to feature drummer Simon Wright (previously of the English band AIIZ), after the departure of Phil Rudd, who would later rejoin the band in 1994, only to leave again in 2015 following a string of legal disputes. The line-up of the Monsters of Rock 1984 in Germany (Karlsruhe and Nuremberg) was: AC/DC (headliner), Mötley Crüe, Accept, Gary Moore, Dio, Ozzy Osbourne, Van Halen. {{Clear}}Tour datesFlick of the Switch Tour datesDate | City | Country | Venue | Flick of the Switch Leg[1] |
