}}Francis Hamilton Moncreiff (29 September 1906 – 3 September 1984)[1] was an Anglican bishop in the 20th century.[2]

Moncreiff was born in North Berwick, educated at Shrewsbury and St John's College, Cambridge.[3] He was ordained after a period of study at Ripon College Cuddesdon in 1931.[4] He began his ordained ministry with curacies at St Giles' Cambridge and St Augustine's, Kilburn. After this he was priest in charge of St Salvador's, Edinburgh from 1941 to 1947 and its rector until 1951. The following year he was elected Bishop of Glasgow and Galloway[5] and a decade later Primus of Scotland, posts he held until his retirement in 1973.
