}}Frederick Clarence (Fred) Holmes (July 1, 1878 – February 13, 1956) was a Major League Baseball first baseman and catcher.[1] Holmes played for the New York Highlanders in {{By|1903}}[1] and the Chicago Cubs in {{By|1904}}.[1] In two career games, he had one hit in three at-bats.
