The Very Reverend Honourable George Herbert (25 November 1825 – 15 March 1894) was an Anglican priest. He was Dean of Hereford in the last third of the 19th century.[1] Herrbert was educated at Eton College and St John's College, Cambridge.[2][3] At Cambridge, he was president of the University Pitt Club.[3] Ordained in 1850,[4] he began his ministry as a curate at St Mary's Kidderminster. Five years later he became Vicar of Clun.
