Political careerHe was elected as the member of the National Assembly for the first time from two constituencies, NA-137 and NA-138, in Pakistani general election, 1990.[1] He was re-elected to the National Assembly for the second time in Pakistani general election, 1997.{{citation needed|date=April 2017}} He is the father of Hina Rabbani Khar[2] and the younger brother Ghulam Mustafa Khar.
