He appeared in more than 80 films between 1953 and 1989. Born in Todi from an Italian father and a Scottish mother, a former athlete of pentathlon, he studied at Actors Studio in New York.[1] Between late fifties and late seventies he was one of the protagonists of the Italian genre cinema.[2] He was father of the actor Kim Rossi Stuart and of the actress/stuntwoman Valentina Rossi Stuart.[3] Filmography{{Div col|colwidth=30em}}
