Its seat is the village of Harasiuki, which lies approximately {{convert|26|km|mi|0}} east of Nisko and {{convert|61|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} north-east of the regional capital Rzeszów. The gmina covers an area of {{convert|168.29|km2|sqmi|1}}, and as of 2006 its total population is 6,392 (6,236 in 2013).
