Its seat is the village of Roźwienica, which lies approximately {{convert|10|km|mi|0}} south-west of Jarosław and {{convert|43|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} east of the regional capital Rzeszów. The gmina covers an area of {{convert|70.69|km2|sqmi|1}}, and as of 2006 its total population is 6,395 (6,215 in 2013).
