Its seat is the village of Wodynie, which lies approximately {{convert|25|km|mi|0}} south-west of Siedlce and {{convert|69|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} east of Warsaw. The gmina covers an area of {{convert|115.66|km2|sqmi|1}}, and as of 2006 its total population is 4,761 (4,559 in 2014).
