The oldest portion of this 2-1/2 story timber frame house was built in 1702, making it the oldest building in Hudson. Built by John Goodale, it has been home to a number of his notable descendants, including Abner Goodale, a soldier in the American Revolutionary War. It is also believed to have served as a stop on the Underground Railroad.[2] The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.[1] See also
