Its main products are carbon fiber based snow skis, ski poles, water skis and accessories.[1] HistoryDave Goode founded GOODE Ski Technologies in 1975. During the first fifteen years, the then Michigan-based company manufactured and marketed a full line of ski accessories. In 1990, the company introduced the carbon composite ski pole,[2] then in 1994, the company applied the same technology to the manufacturing of water skis, patenting the carbon fiber water ski.[3] Over the past 14 years, carbon fiber skis have set the Men's and Women's World Records and won many US National Medals.[4][5] In 1995, GOODE prototyped and built the carbon fiber snow ski. In 2001, the company expanded its factory and purchased the production assets of Volant skis,[6] and currently produces a full line of carbon fiber snow skis.
