{{Infobox_gene}}Golgi-associated PDZ and coiled-coil motif-containing protein is a protein that in humans is encoded by the GOPC gene.[1][2][3]PIST is a PDZ domain-containing Golgi protein. PDZ domains contain approximately 90 amino acids and bind the extreme C terminus of proteins in a sequence-specific manner.[supplied by OMIM][3] InteractionsGOPC has been shown to interact with GRID2,[4] BECN1,[4] RHOQ,[1]ACCN3,[5] Cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator[6][7] and CSPG5.[8] References1. ^1 {{cite journal |vauthors=Neudauer CL, Joberty G, Macara IG | title = PIST: a novel PDZ/coiled-coil domain binding partner for the rho-family GTPase TC10 | journal = Biochem Biophys Res Commun | volume = 280 | issue = 2 | pages = 541–7 |date=Feb 2001 | pmid = 11162552 | pmc = | doi = 10.1006/bbrc.2000.4160 }} 2. ^{{cite journal |vauthors=Yao R, Maeda T, Takada S, Noda T | title = Identification of a PDZ domain containing Golgi protein, GOPC, as an interaction partner of frizzled | journal = Biochem Biophys Res Commun | volume = 286 | issue = 4 | pages = 771–8 |date=Aug 2001 | pmid = 11520064 | pmc = | doi = 10.1006/bbrc.2001.5430 }} 3. ^1 {{cite web | title = Entrez Gene: GOPC golgi associated PDZ and coiled-coil motif containing| url = https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez?Db=gene&Cmd=ShowDetailView&TermToSearch=57120| accessdate = }} 4. ^1 {{cite journal |last=Yue |first=Zhenyu |authorlink= |author2=Horton Antony |author3=Bravin Monica |author4=DeJager Philip L |author5=Selimi Fekrije |author6=Heintz Nathaniel |date=Aug 2002 |title=A novel protein complex linking the delta 2 glutamate receptor and autophagy: implications for neurodegeneration in lurcher mice |journal=Neuron |volume=35 |issue=5 |pages=921–33 |publisher= |location = United States| issn = 0896-6273| pmid = 12372286 |doi=10.1016/S0896-6273(02)00861-9 }} 5. ^{{cite journal |last=Hruska-Hageman |first=Alesia M |authorlink= |author2=Benson Christopher J |author3=Leonard A Soren |author4=Price Margaret P |author5=Welsh Michael J |date=Nov 2004 |title=PSD-95 and Lin-7b interact with acid-sensing ion channel-3 and have opposite effects on H+- gated current |journal=J.
