He played at representative level for Great Britain in non-Test matches, and at club level for the Hull Kingston Rovers, Halifax, Hull FC, the Huddersfield Giants and the York City Knights as a {{rlp|wg|ce}}, or {{rlp|lf}}, i.e. number 2 or 5, 3 or 4, or, 13,[1] and coached at club level for Hunslet Hawks.[2] BackgroundGraeme Hallas was born in Leeds, West Riding of Yorkshire, England. Club careerHallas began his amateur career with Dudley Hill ARLFC.[4] He played for the Hull Kingston Rovers, and also played in the Super League for Halifax, Hull F.C. and the Huddersfield Giants. Despite Huddersfield Giants being relegated from the Super League in 2001, Hallas opted to stay with the club and signed a new contract.[5] In 2002, Hallas played in Huddersfield Giants' win against Leigh Centurions in the Northern Ford Premiership Grand Final.[6] He left the club at the end of the season and joined the newly formed York City Knights. He appeared 22 times for the club in the 2003 season, scoring nine tries.[7] International honoursHallas was selected for the 1992 Great Britain Lions tour of Australia and New Zealand.
