{{Infobox_gene}}Growth factor receptor-bound protein 14 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the GRB14 gene.[1][2]The product of this gene belongs to a small family of adapter proteins that are known to interact with a number of receptor tyrosine kinases and signaling molecules. This gene encodes a growth factor receptor-binding protein that interacts with insulin receptors and insulin-like growth-factor receptors. This protein likely has an inhibitory effect on receptor tyrosine kinase signaling and, in particular, on insulin receptor signaling. This gene may play a role in signaling pathways that regulate growth and metabolism. Transcript variants have been reported for this gene, but their full-length natures have not been determined to date.[2] InteractionsGRB14 has been shown to interact with Epidermal growth factor receptor,[3] Fibroblast growth factor receptor 1[4] and TNKS2.[5] References1. ^{{cite journal |vauthors=Baker E, Sutherland GR, Sutherland RL, Daly RJ | title = Assignment of the human GRB14 gene to chromosome 2q22-q24 by fluorescence in situ hybridization | journal = Genomics | volume = 36 | issue = 1 | pages = 218–220 |date=February 1997 | pmid = 8812444 | pmc = | doi = 10.1006/geno.1996.0453 }} 2. ^1 {{cite web | title = Entrez Gene: GRB14 growth factor receptor-bound protein 14| url = https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez?Db=gene&Cmd=ShowDetailView&TermToSearch=2888| accessdate = }} 3. ^{{cite journal |last=Daly |first=R J |authorlink= |author2=Sanderson G M |author3=Janes P W |author4=Sutherland R L |date=May 1996 |title=Cloning and characterization of GRB14, a novel member of the GRB7 gene family |journal=J.
