Great Eagle Holdings Limited ({{hkex|0041}}) is a Hong Kong real estate company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Through its subsidiaries, it engages in property investment and owns and operates various hotels. Its head office is located at the Great Eagle Centre, Harbour Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong. The company operates in Hong Kong, North America, Europe and the Asia Pacific region. Currently, the company's hotel portfolio comprises thirteen properties with over 6,000 rooms, including ten hotels branded under the Langham name in Hong Kong, Shanghai, London, Boston, Los Angeles, Melbourne and Auckland; the Eaton Hotels in Hong Kong and Shanghai; and the Chelsea Hotel in Toronto. In October 2007, the company sold its commercial property in San Francisco. OwnershipThe group is largely held by the Lo family, headed by matriach Lo To Lee-kwan (born 1918). Her second son Lo Yuk Sui is majority owner, Chairman and Managing Director of Regal Hotels International.[1] History and developmentsThe group was established in 1963 and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 1972. It restructured in 1990 to register the holding company in Bermuda.[2] The Eaton Chelsea Toronto (known until 1 July 2013 as the Delta Chelsea hotel), located at 33 Gerrard Street in Toronto, Canada, is an official sponsor of Canada's best known shopping centre, the Toronto Eaton Centre.[3] In January 2017, Great Eagle’s US unit purchased Seattle hotel site for $18 million.[4] Major holdings
