}} Jeremie Miller (born {{bda|1975|4|7}}) is the inventor of Jabber/XMPP technologies and was the primary developer of jabberd 1.0, the first XMPP server.{{citation needed|date=October 2013}} He also wrote one of the very first XML parsers in JavaScript.{{citation needed|date=October 2013}} He began working on Jabber in 1998.{{fact|date=June 2017}} BiographyMiller is from Cascade, Iowa, and lives in Denver, Colorado.{{fact|date=June 2017}} Miller began developing the software on his farm in Iowa. He attended Iowa State University where he studied computer and electrical design.
