The village is located on the plain, 10 km away from the center of the region, at the left side of the Nakhchivan-Julfa highway. It is located in the left side of the Nakhchivan-Julfa highway, 10 km from the district center, on the plain. Its population is busy with grain-growing and animal husbandry. There are secondary school, club, mosque and a medical center in the village. It has a population of 1,563.[1] EtymologyIn the Nakhchivan dialect, Güznüt means "autumn sowing".
