History

Hanno Station was opened on April 10, 1927 as {{Nihongo|Mino-Suhara Station|美濃洲原駅||}}. On December 20, 1956,the station was renamed {{nihongo|Konno Station|木尾駅||}}. Operations were transferred from the Japan National Railway (JNR) to the Nagaragawa Railway on December 11, 1986. The station was renamed to its present name on that date.^[1]
