A bustling centre forward, he played local football for Pelsall Villa and Lichfield Barracks before joining Small Heath.[2] He made his debut in the First Division on 22 February 1896 in a 4–1 defeat at Bolton Wanderers, and scored twice in the next four games,[3] but the selectors preferred Jack Jones. Haddon died in Walsall, Staffordshire.[2] References1. ^1 {{cite book |last=Joyce |first=Michael |title=Football League Players' Records 1888 to 1939 |publisher=SoccerData |location=Nottingham |year=2004 |page=109 |isbn=978-1-899468-67-6}} {{DEFAULTSORT:Haddon, Harry}}{{England-footy-forward-1870s-stub}}2. ^1 {{cite book |last=Matthews |first=Tony |title=Birmingham City: A Complete Record |year=1995 |publisher=Breedon Books |location=Derby |page=92 |isbn=978-1-85983-010-9}} 3. ^Matthews, p. 143. 11 : 1871 births|Year of death missing|People from Pelsall|Sportspeople from Walsall|English footballers|Association football forwards|Pelsall Villa F.C. players|Birmingham City F.C. players|Walsall Wood F.C. players|English Football League players|Date of birth missing |
