Character historyHart Jessup is the son of the late Roger Thorpe and Laura Jessup. After his maternal grandfather Peter Jessup's death, Hart learned the truth about who his father was – the infamous Roger Thorpe. Through Hart didn't get along with his father, Hart became very close with his half-sister Christina "Blake" Thorpe Marler. Hart has two children, a son Peter Reardon from a one-night stand with Bridget Reardon and Roger Joshua "R.J." Winslow from his relationship with Cassie Layne. Hart didn't know about his son Peter for the first years of his life; when he learned of his son, he wanted to make up for lost time. Hart died following surgery after being accidentally being shot by his ex-wife Dinah Marler. {{DEFAULTSORT:Jessup, Hart}}{{soap-char-stub}} 3 : Guiding Light characters|Fictional American people|Fictional characters introduced in 1991 |
