Hester Kaplan is an American short story writer, and novelist. LifeShe grew up in Cambridge. She graduated from Barnard College. She has taught writing at Rhode Island School of Design[1] and teaches at Lesley University.[2] Her work appeared in Ploughshares, Story, Glimmer Train, and Agni,[3] "The Private Life of Skin", appeared in Southwest Review. She is the mother of two boys, Alex and Toby. Awards
