The remix was included on Maino's fourth mixtape Maino is the Future, which was hosted by Big Mike and released in October 2008.[4] Music videoThe music video for the remix, directed by Mazik Saevitz, was released September 11, 2008. It was shot at Cinema World Studios in Brooklyn, where American recording artists Mýa, Big Kuntry King, Common and Red Cafe, all showed up to make cameo appearances.[5][6] The set up of the video begins with T.I. parodying P. Diddy's appearance in the "Flava in Ya Ear (Remix)" music video, when he says "Hatas, Come out and play" while knocking two coke bottles together, which in turned parodied The Warriors. The video features the artist in front of a white background, rapping there verses. At the end of each of the verses, The artists' hand prints appear on screen in different colors, Maino's purple at the end of the video, T.I.'s orange, Swizz Beatz's dark green, Plies's yellow, and Jadakiss's blue. Fabolous does not use his hand, but uses the hand of one of the video girls, the last hand print is pink.[7] References1. ^{{cite web|url={{BillboardURLbyName|artist=maino|chart=all}}|title=Discography of Maino|work=Billboard|accessdate=2008-08-31}} {{Maino}}{{-}}{{T.I. singles}}{{Swizz Beatz}}{{Plies}}{{Fabolous}}{{Jadakiss}}2. ^1 Top Music Charts - Hot 100 - Billboard 200 - Music Genre Sales 3. ^Top Music Charts - Hot 100 - Billboard 200 - Music Genre Sales 4. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.datpiff.com/Maino-Maino-Is-The-Future-mixtape.21069.html|title=Maino – Maino Is the Future // Free Mixtape|work=DatPiff|publisher=Idle Media Inc|date=2008-10-06|accessdate=2013-06-21}} 5. ^Maino - Hi Hater (Remix) Behind The Scenes 6. ^On Set of Maino’s ‘Hi Hater (Remix)’ Video 7. ^Maino: "Hi Hater" Remix (Video) 6 : 2008 singles|2008 songs|Maino songs|Atlantic Records singles|Debut singles|Song articles with missing songwriters |
