It started operations on 28 September 2009.[1] It is located underground at the intersection of Shennan Dadao ({{zh|s=深南大道}}), Tonggu Road ({{zh|s=铜鼓路|t=銅鼓路}}) and Kejinan Shilu ({{zh|s=科技南十路}}),[2] in the Nanshan District of Shenzhen, China. The station is named after the Shenzhen Hi-Tech Park ({{zh|s=深圳高新技术园|t=深圳高新技術園}}), but the name has been criticized as inappropriate since it is actually closer to Dachong ({{zh|s=大冲|t=大涌}}).[3] Station layout
