She was fitted out at Deptford between April and 12 May, and commissioned under Lieutenant John Store.[1] His replacement, in August 1795, was Lieutenant John Wolfe, who was succeeded in the next month by Lieutenant Robert Watherston. A little over a year later, in October 1796, Lieutenant Francis M'Ghie took command. In March of the next year Lieutenant Charles Randle replaced him. FateShe was paid off in April 1802.[1] The "Scourge Gun-Vessel, 71 Tons, lying at Sheerness", was put up for sale in March 1803.[1][2] She was renamed Crash on 10 August 1803, but then she was broken up at Sheerness in September.[3] Citations and referencesCitations1. ^{{London Gazette|issue=15565|page=255|date=8 March 1803}} 2. ^Naval Chronicle, Vol. 11, Appendix (p.496). 3. ^1 2 3 Winfield (2008), p.325.
