The system includes an orange bright giant star and a B-type main sequence star, forming an eclipsing binary of Zeta Aurigae type. The system is also surrounded by a warm circumstellar envelope and the spectra show silicon and carbon absorption up to a distance of 3.3 giant radii.[1]References1. ^1 2 3 4 5 6 7 {{cite journal| doi=10.1051/0004-6361:20011117| author=Kirsch| last2=Baade| first2=R.| last3=Reimers| first3=D.| title=The warm circumstellar envelope and wind of the G9 IIb star HR 6902| journal=Astronomy and Astrophysics| volume=379| issue=3| pages=925–935| date=2001| bibcode=2001A&A...379..925K|arxiv = astro-ph/0008378 }} 2. ^1 2 3 4 5 6 {{cite journal | title=Validation of the new Hipparcos reduction | url=http://www.aanda.org/index.php?option=com_article&access=bibcode&Itemid=129&bibcode=2007A%2526A...474..653VFUL | last1=van Leeuwen | first1=F. | journal=Astronomy and Astrophysics | volume=474 | issue=2 | pages=653–664 | date=2007 | arxiv=0708.1752 | bibcode=2007A&A...474..653V | doi=10.1051/0004-6361:20078357 }} Vizier catalog entry
