It is known from isolated ilia and tibio-fibulae recovered from the Iharkút locality in the Csehbánya Formation. This genus was named by Zoltán Szentesi and Márton Venczel in 2010, and the type species is Hungarobatrachus szukacsi.[1] References1. ^{{Cite journal|author=Zoltán Szentesi and Márton Venczel |year=2010 |title=An advanced anuran from the Late Cretaceous (Santonian) of Hungary |url=http://www.schweizerbart.de/resources/downloads/paper_previews/75036.pdf |journal=Neues Jahrbuch für Geologie und Paläontologie - Abhandlungen |volume=256 |issue=3 |pages=291–302 |doi=10.1127/0077-7749/2010/0054 }} {{Taxonbar|from=Q16753871}}{{paleo-amphibian-stub}} 4 : Cretaceous frogs|Fossil taxa described in 2010|Late Cretaceous amphibians|Cretaceous amphibians of Europe |
