Simmons, Sebastian Stan, Maika Monroe, Max Greenfield, Mandy Moore, David Koechner, Harold Perrineau, Iain Armitage and Jeremy Maguire had joined the cast of the film, with Michelle Schumacher directing the film, from a screenplay by Schumacher and Tony Cummings.
