She was the leader of the Socialist Youth from 2002 to 2004, and also a central committee member of the Socialist Left Party.[1] In 2007 she was a candidate to become deputy leader of the Socialist Left Party, but lost out to Bård Vegar Solhjell at the national convention.[2] She served as a deputy representative to the Parliament of Norway from Rogaland during the terms 1997–2001, 2001–2005 and 2009–2013. In November 2009, as a part of Stoltenberg's Second Cabinet, Fiskaa was appointed State Secretary for Erik Solheim in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.[1] Fiskaa became a board member of Attac Norway in 2004, and leader of the anti-war organization Fredsinitiativet ('The Peace Initiative') in 2005.[3] She stepped down from Fredsinitiativet in 2008.[4] She has been suggested by peace activist Fredrik Heffermehl as a new member of the Norwegian Nobel Committee.[5] She hails from Bryne,[3] and has a bachelor's degree from the University of Stavanger.[6] In 2009 she graduated with a master's degree in history from the University of Oslo.[7] References1. ^1 {{stortingetbio|INF}} {{s-start}}{{s-ppo}}{{succession box |before=Kari-Anne Moe |title=Leader of the Socialist Youth |years=2002–2004 |after=Audun Herning }}{{s-end}}{{Authority control}}{{DEFAULTSORT:Fiskaa, Ingrid}}{{Norway-politician-1970s-stub}}2. ^{{cite news|title=Solhjell vant kampen om nestledervervet|agency=Norwegian News Agency|date=25 March 2007|language=Norwegian}} 3. ^1 {{cite news|title=Fakta om Ingrid Fiskaa|agency=Norwegian News Agency|date=23 February 2007|language=Norwegian}} 4. ^{{cite news|title=– Backet ikke opp lederen|last=Horn|first=Anders|author2=Sjøli, Hans Petter|date=9 February 2008|work=Klassekampen|language=Norwegian}} 5. ^{{cite news|url=http://www.nytid.no/perspektiver/artikler/20081010/fredspriskuppet/|title=Fredspriskuppet|last=Dahl|first=Miriam Stackpole|date=10 October 2008|work=Ny Tid|language=Norwegian|accessdate=12 December 2008|deadurl=yes|archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20081210185552/http://www.nytid.no/perspektiver/artikler/20081010/fredspriskuppet/|archivedate=10 December 2008|df=}} 6. ^{{cite news|title=Utvikling handler om makt, ikke veldedighet|last=Roux|first=Torunn Egge|date=26 November 2009|page=10|work=Stavanger Aftenblad|language=Norwegian}} 7. ^{{cite web|url=https://www.duo.uio.no/handle/10852/23794|title=Statsmakta og Lofthusreisinga : styresmaktene si handtering av allmugereisinga i Nedenes og Bratsberg 1786-87.
