INS Sahyadri (F49) is a {{sclass-|Shivalik|frigate|0}} stealth multi-role frigate built for the Indian Navy. This class features improved stealth and land attack capabilities over the preceding {{sclass-|Talwar|frigate|1}}s.[4]

Miscellaneous

In May 2016, INS Sahyadri was awarded the ‘Best Ship Trophy’ at the annual Fleet Awards function in Visakhapatnam.[27] The ship is affiliated with Poona Horse, one of the oldest armoured regiments of the Indian Army.[28][29]
