It is the largest selling farming newspaper in the country with a circulation of 60,934 at the end of 2017.[1] It is published every Sunday. It employs 90 people and is owned by The Agricultural Trust which also owns The Irish Field. Irish Dairy FarmerThe Irish Dairy Farmer is a special edition magazine published by the Irish Farmers Journal for Irish dairy farmers. It was previously an annual publication published in winter, but in 2015 there was both a summer and winter issue. Irish Country MagazineIrish Country Magazine, launched nationwide in March 2012, was inspired by the growing readership of the weekly Irish Country Living supplement with the Irish Farmers Journal. The magazine covers fashion, beauty and lifestyle tips and has evolved greatly since its launch to where it is today. In 2015 Irish Country Magazine was awarded Consumer Magazine of Year 2015 at the Magazines Ireland awards. In early 2016, the magazine moved from a bi-monthly publication to a 10 issues per year publication, around that same time it also became the number one women's glossy magazine in Ireland. The magazine is edited by Jennifer Stevens and journalists include Maria Moynihan (Journalist of the Year 2015 at the Magazines Ireland awards), Klara Heron and Róisín Healy.
