James Campbell (born 5 June 1951), is a Scottish writer. He was born in Glasgow[1] and educated at the University of Edinburgh (1974–78), he is a former editor of the New Edinburgh Review and works for The Times Literary Supplement,[2] where he writes the weekly "NB" column under the pen-name J.C.
