Born Jason Willis Betts, he formed his stage name, Eldon Thiele, from his two deceased grandfathers, Eldon R. Betts Sr. and John L. Thiele Sr. Music careerEldon Thiele is the lead vocalist, pianist, and songwriter for the band Zwerg. Betts' most successful song to date is "To Stand, Kneel", which he made into a video and directed and edited himself. Acting careerHe has acted in numerous television shows including Sex & Violence, The Sopranos, Law & Order, G-Spot, Blessed Stranger: After Flight 111, Irish Eyes and Queer as Folk.[1] Personal lifeEldon Thiele was born in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada to a father who taught music and to a mother who taught art. He was a supply teacher at the same school he graduated at, also where he won numerous awards for continuous contributions for his high school's famous drama program. He is fluent in English and French.
