Suleri river is its main tributary. It joins Khari river in Jalore district near Sayala. The river flows in a north-west direction for about {{convert|96|km|abbr=on}}. Its catchment area is {{convert|2,976|km2|abbr=on}} in Udaipur, Pali and Jalore districts. Western Rajasthan's largest dam, the Jawai Dam, is located near Sumerpur in Pali district on this river only. The twin cities Sumerpur and Sheoganj in Sirohi district is also located on the bank of Jawai only. See also
