Early lifeHe studied at Ananda Sastralaya, Kotte in 1976. He has won many awards at Youth Drama Festivals. For his play "Loka", 1987, he received awards except for Script and Best Actor. He graduated in bachelor of Arts from the University of Peradeniya (External)in 2007[3] Masters of Drama and Theater, University of Kelaniya in 2009[4] according to evidence of examination departments of universities.
