It is the capital of the Lomami Province. GeographyThe town is the capital of Kabinda District in Kasai-Oriental Province. Kabinda is served by Tunta Airport. The town had 192 364 inhabitants 2010.[2] The town is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kabinda.
