| Ship armour= | Ship notes= }} | JDS {{nihongo|Harukaze |春風| "Spring Wind"}} was the lead ship in her class of anti-submarine ships, and the first destroyer of the Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force to be built in Japan since the end of World War II.[2]Ship historyThe ship was laid down at the Mitsubishi shipyard in Nagasaki on 15 December 1954, launched on 20 September 1955 and commissioned on 26 April 1956 with the hull number "DD-101".
