ReceptionWhen the film premiered in Belgrade on November 12, 2008,[3] it outsold the James Bond film Quantum of Solace which opened there that same weekend,[1][4] bumping the Bond film to second place in the Serbian box office.[5][6] In speaking about the film, Politika made note that full-length theatrically released documentary films about Serbian athletes are rare. They appreciated that Jelenin svet celebrated the efforts of one of the best among the best in the world, and that the film was able to document Jelena Janković's rise from third-best to world's best. They wrote that the film is dynamic, witty and cheerful in its portrait of Janković, and that it allows viewers to better understand the subject of the film.[7] References1. ^1 {{cite news|last=Pearce|first=Linda|title=Point to prove|url=http://www.theage.com.au/news/sport/tennis/point-to-prove/2009/01/15/1231608889388.html|accessdate=January 2, 2012|newspaper=The Age|date=January 17, 2009}} 2. ^1 {{cite news|last=Staff|title=Film on world tennis No.1 Jankovic|url=http://www.hurriyet.com.tr/english/lifestyle/10379418.asp?scr=1|accessdate=January 2, 2012|newspaper=Hürriyet Daily News|date=September 10, 2011}} 3. ^{{cite news|last=Staff|title=Culture and Sports|url=http://www.setimes.com/cocoon/setimes/xhtml/en_GB/features/setimes/roundup/2008/11/19/roundup-cl-03|accessdate=January 2, 2012|newspaper=Southeast European Times|date=November 10, 2008}} 4. ^{{cite news|last=Robson|first=Douglas|title=Top-ranked Jankovic, fitter than ever, aims high in 2009|url=https://www.usatoday.com/sports/tennis/2009-01-04-wtatour-jankovic_N.htm|accessdate=January 2, 2012|newspaper=USA Today|date=January 4, 2009}} 5. ^1 {{cite news|last=Staff|title=Jankovic takes quantum leap|url=http://www.brisbanetimes.com.au/news/sport/tennis/jankovic-takes-quantum-leap/2009/01/09/1231004288657.html|accessdate=January 2, 2012|newspaper=Brisbane Times|date=January 10, 2009}} 6. ^{{cite news|last=Hodgkinson|first=Mark|title=Licence to thrill|url=http://www.theage.com.au/news/sport/tennis/licence-to-thrill/2009/01/06/1231004020150.html|accessdate=January 2, 2012|newspaper=The Age|date=January 7, 2009}} 7. ^1 2 {{cite news|last=Lakic|first=Dubravka|script-title=sr:Ведрина на трону|url=http://www.politika.rs/rubrike/Kritika/filmska-kritika/Vedrina-na-tronu.sr.html|accessdate=January 2, 2012|newspaper=Politika|date=November 14, 2008|language=Serbian}} External links
