Its population was 264 as of the 2010 census.[1] GeographyAccording to the U.S. Census Bureau, the community has an area of {{convert|0.760|mi2}}, of which {{convert|0.759|mi2}} is land and {{convert|0.001|mi2}} is water.[1] HistoryJennings was a lumbering center founded by Austin and William Mitchell, who named it for William Jennings Bryan. A post office opened on March 8, 1883, with J. Frank Schryer as the first postmaster. The office was discontinued on July 31, 1956.
