Born in Kenosha, Antaramian graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Parkside and served in the Wisconsin State Assembly for ten years.[2] In 1992, Antaramian was elected Mayor of Kenosha, Wisconsin and served for sixteen years. In 2008, he retired and started a consulting business.
