Walsh (born August 19, 1962) was a member of the Michigan House of Representatives, first elected in 2008. Walsh has a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and a law degree from Wayne State University. Prior to being elected to the Michigan House Walsh was a corporate lawyer, an executive at Schoolcraft College and a member of the Livonia City Council. He and his wife Janice are the parents of two children. Walsh represents the city of Livonia. He is currently the Speaker Pro Tempore of the Michigan State House of Representatives. Sources
