}} John Mann (born May 1961) is a British comedian, writer and columnist. Early careerAfter attending Burnt Mill School in Harlow, Mann started performing at the Square in Harlow where he was a sound engineer. His first performance came about when two of the booked acts failed to appear, so he offered to perform instead. {{citation needed|date=October 2013}} ComedyMann appears regularly at most of the UK's top comedy clubs and has performed extensively in clubs and at festivals around the world. He is a popular compere on the UK comedy circuit and appears regularly at Jongleurs clubs nationwide. He has toured with Phill Jupitus and Lenny Henry and has appeared on numerous TV comedy shows.
