The interior features a massive mahogany stairway with paneled wainscotting.[5] It was designated a New York City landmark in 1970,[3] and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.[1] Currently it is the F. G. Guido Funeral Home.[2] ReferencesNotes1. ^1 {{NRISref|version=2009a}} 2. ^1 {{cite aia5}}, p.626 3. ^1 New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission "John Rankin House Designation Report" (July 14, 1970) 4. ^{{cite nycland}}, p.248 5. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.oprhp.state.ny.us/hpimaging/hp_view.asp?GroupView=3274|title=National Register of Historic Places Registration:John Rankin House|date=April 1976|accessdate=2011-02-20 |author1=Ezequelle, Betty |author2=Ralph, Elizabeth K.|lastauthoramp=yes|publisher=New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation}} See also: {{cite web|url=http://www.oprhp.state.ny.us/hpimaging/hp_view.asp?GroupView=3273|title=Accompanying four photos}} External links
