During the 17th century, a family from Kahuta District of Rawalpindi migrated to this village. Migrants were great-grandsons of Akbar Gaye Khan of Kahuta a Abbasi originally from Khurasan state. Names of those two cousins migrated to Kharal from Kahuta were Singri Khan and Samhan Khan. They are not from the lineage of Tohondh Khan.
